Independent Major Representative

ONE junior position available. Serves as a liaison, helping students with questions they have about the application process, then reading those applications in a committee with faculty and staff as well as the other student representative. The representative also advises students in helping them decide what courses to take. An independent major representative must be an active leader on campus and must have knowledge of many departments. This is NOT a large time commitment. This junior will hold the position for two years; for the first year, working with the independent major representative appointed two years ago, and then tutoring a new junior representative as a senior independent major representative.

Requirements: MUST BE A JUNIOR AND MUST NOT BE STUDYING ABROAD. This is a two year commitment.
